Can one remote train two dogs?
Yes. The remote controls both collars. One click on the 1/2 button switches between dogs, so you can train them one after the other in the same session.
Which dogs is the ULTRA K9 X2 best for?
Two dogs from 8 to 150 lbs each, 6 months and older, even if they are different sizes. Verified buyers use it on English Mastiffs, Labradors, Boxers and German Shepherds. It is not for aggressive dogs.
How far does the ULTRA K9 X2 reach?
Up to 1,100 yards in open terrain. Woods, hills and buildings shorten the range, so test in your area first.
Are the collars and remote waterproof?
Yes. Both collars are IP67 (rain, lakes and short swims) and the remote is IP65 (rain and splashes). Rinse and dry after salt water.
What behaviors does it help with?
Not coming when called, chasing deer or poultry, excessive barking, ignoring commands, jumping, digging and running off. Start with tone or vibration at the lowest level each dog notices, and reward the right response.
How long until I see results?
Most dogs reach reliable off-leash recall in 4–6 weeks of daily practice, or 8–10 weeks for older or reactive dogs. Barking usually improves in about 14 days. Many owners report a change in the first week. See our recall guide.
How do I find each dog's starting level?
Find it for each dog separately. Start at level 1 in a quiet place and raise one level at a time until you see a small sign your dog notices, like an ear flick or head turn. Use tone and vibration first.
How long should training sessions be?
5–10 minutes per dog, up to 3 times a day, starting somewhere quiet. Most owners wear the collars 2–4 hours a day while training, never more than 8.
How long does the battery last?
Each collar lasts up to 15 days and the remote up to 45 days per charge, depending on use. A full charge takes about 2–3 hours over USB.
I already own an ULTRA K9. Can I add a second collar?
Yes. The ULTRA K9 remote pairs with up to 2 collars. Add an extra ULTRA K9 collar instead of buying a second system.
Is the ULTRA K9 X2 safe for my dogs?
Used as directed, yes. Training happens at the lowest level each dog responds to, with tone and vibration modes, a keypad lock against accidental presses, and silicone covers for the skin. Wear each collar no more than 8 hours a day and move it every 1–2 hours.

Great product, I have 2 English Mastiff males, both a little wild, I have had many other training collars, this is the Bomb. This gets their attention, they have never been on a leash ever & this is keeping them inline. Collars fit geat on these big dogs, I highly recommend this dual package.

I live in the middle of Amish farm lands. When I got my first dog, Dopey-do. Dopey-do had a wanderlust especially when the deer moved around. I found out quickly that I either had to put up a fence or pay thousands to have an electric fence. Unfortunately, with the farming on 3 sides of my property the electric fence was out. Not paying thousands of dollars every time the farmers accidentally dig into ground in the wrong spot.
Brutticus got the zoomies, and nearly ran into an on coming Truck. Luckily the driver saw what was going on and slowed down. Being on a rural road usually means they don't slow down. I learned with Dopey-do that boxers are and can be very stubborn and I wasn't that those scary moments again.
Brutticus has already learned the warning beep, while he will usually ignore the vibration, the shock gets his attention every time and he comes running back to me.

This is the third type of dog collar we have purchased. The quality of these collars is far better than the other brands we’ve owned.
Our previous collars you had to shake the collars vigorously before using to get the collars to beep. And then when the dogs went outside, often the collars didn’t work.
In addition to the distance range of these collars. They are a higher quality. The remote is simple to operate and lights up in the dark. We would highly recommend these collars and would purchase again.

I ordered it because I have a 10m old Shepard/Husky mix that is very stubborn, and no other collars have worked on him. I was told this collar was supposed to work on stubborn and long haired dogs. And it did work on his brother (which the $45 training collar worked on him) who isn't stubborn or hard at all, but it didn't phase the one I ordered it for. Not even with the shock up on 99. So, maybe for everyone else's dog's they might work well, but, it was a waste of a lot of money for me.

Great product so far got the 2 dog system feels very durable dogs respond great only have to use tone and vibrate using them on German shepherds if longevity of product holds up very good for the money.

My dogs really relate with this collar the levels of corrections are awesome i test ran it on myself to use the correct amount of stimulation so i know it doesn’t sends my dogs into fear or panic mode.👌👍

These collars have helped big time with our dogs listening and training!! Reccomend to anyone looking for a good collar. The two collar pack was a decent price and switching between collars on the control is simole as a singke click back and forth! Not to mention the battery life is great!

I ran into a major problem because I am not computer savvy and there is no 800 or there is no phone number that I can call in order to get assistance. I’ve bought two sets of collars and looking to buy a third set so on a rotating basis, I wanna get a red one and an orange one or yellow one in order for the different activities that they go to, but the charging cable does not fit the current black collar I currently have
